May 29, 2014

You always run into the risk of losing items when attempting to maintain your PC. Therefore, you should back up your computer. On newer Windows versions (7 and later), you can very easily set your System Restore to run automatic restore points. Some quick steps for Windows 7 users to use System Restore:

1. Type “System Restore” into your Start search bar.

2. Click on the appropriate action (i.e. “restore system files and settings from a restore point” or “create a restore point”)

3. Follow the prompts as the dialogue box walks you through the next steps.

4. Wait for your computer to restore or back up your files and programs.

5. Restart your computer.
