Launching
Wise Registry Cleaner |

To start Wise Registry
Cleaner, double-click its icon on your desktop or single-click its icon in your
Quick Launch bar. PS: These icons will
not appear if they were not selected during installation.
If these icons are not
available, you can open Wise Registry Cleaner from the Start menu by clicking
Start -> All Programs / Programs -> Wise Registry Cleaner (folder) ->
Wise Registry Cleaner.
When Wise Registry
Cleaner is launched, the Main Status screen is displayed.

The buttons on the tools bar
initiate the following actions:
Scan: Start scanning your registry.
Backup: Create a backup file for your
registry.
Restore: Restore your registry from a
backup file.
Optimize: Optimize your system via the
optimization wizard or advanced settings. (This feature is only included in the
Professional Edition)
Safe: Select all secure entries.
All: Select all entries.
None: Cancel all check marks.
Invert: Invert check marks.
Fix: Repair problems in your Windows
Registry.
Unfix: Restore your registry using a
restore point.
Options: Options for Wise Registry
Cleaner.
Exit: Exit the application.
Run Modes:
Wise Registry Cleaner
provides three operating modes for you.
1. Manual Mode
2. Automatic Mode
To start a
scan in Automatic Mode you need to follow these steps:
1.
Select
the categories in which you want Registry Cleaner to search for invalid
entries.
2.
Click
"Options" to show the options window.
3.
Go
to the "Auto Run" page, and check "Automatic", then click
'Ok' to save the changes.
4.
Exit
Wise Registry Cleaner.
5.
When
you run Wise Registry Cleaner the next time, it will scan and correct
all problems automatically.

3.
Command Line Mode
You
can run Wise Registry Cleaner from the command line:
format: <install folder>\WiseRegistryCleaner.exe -<run mode>
-[Check mode]
Run mode: autorun - Scan and
automatically remove all junk files found.
You must provide the parameters.
Delete mode:
all - Check all entries.
safe - Only check safe entries.
If this parameter is empty, Wise Registry Cleaner will only check safe entries.
For example:
C:\Program files\Wise Registry
Cleaner\WiseRegistryCleaner.exe -a -all
